"Better Than Ever (BTE) is a grass-roots effort by the Arizona Cancer Center designed to encourage participants to make exercise a regular part of life. This fitness and fundraising program provides a welcoming, non-competitive atmosphere for participants of all fitness levels to train for local running, walking or cycling events."
BTE is in it's 11th season and still going strong. Not only do participants gain better health and self confidence through their experience, they also raise money to support pilot research projects focusing on breast and gynecologic cancers. Check out some of the grant award winners here!
